The soft top is louder at high speeds, BUT the hard top (atleast mine) has a rattle at low speeds, but thats an easy fix. The soft top I had would leak when it rained. The soft top is quicker to put up/down. The rear visibility with the top up is awful in both, but worse in the PRHT. Personally, there's no noticeable difference in driving feel.
