Beginner Advice. Explore Carefully: Far Cry is all about exploration, no question about it, and Far Cry Primal is no different. Knowing where to explore, though, is crucial to survival as you start out the game. Venture too far into Cave Lion territory, and you risk making Takkar meat for a cat.
The map of Far Cry Primal, called Oros, is huge and filled with animals and raw materials to scavenge. In the beginning Takkar is limited to his club, spear and bow and arrow to defend himself. Even if you’re confident in your fighting abilities taking the stealth route early on in the adventure is ideal.
Swim toward the waypoint, climb out of the water and take the path that is lit by the swirling lights. Locate and kill the Udam near the unlit pyre, jump the gap and start down and around, going deeper into the cave. Locate the leopard and take it out. Climb the ledges as you move toward the waypoint.
Like snug up against a corner and put like 3 or 5 traps around in front of you to kill or injure any big predators. The bears will draw the attacks so they are a good option until you get your own saber tooth. Once you get one of your own attacks by other cats are rare, at least as long as you stay close to it.

Try to go with Sayla's and Takkar's skills early on cause once you're skinning 3× the normal pelts and scrounging 3× the normal weapon/hut upgrades the easy exp will come easily and with Takkar's stealthy and tanky skills you can hunt and scavenge alot quicker if you can "sprint forever" 🤷🏿‍♂️ win-win imo then next oughta be Tensay and Karoosh then everyone else after.
